DANOS (Drug and Alcohol National Occupational Standards)
Drug and Alcohol Education services use of DANOS (Drug and Alcohol National Occupational Standards) is the basis of our Training and development Programmes. We provide our trainees with a wide variety courses based on best practice and standard guidance.
We use DANOS to provide guidance on teaching and learning outcomes on all our courses. This provides trainees with relevant knowledge, skills and ability as practitioners to work in an informed manner. Our training and development courses support roles such as:

- Arrest Referral Workers
- Family Support Workers
- CARATS Workers
- Drug Counsellors
- Drug Education Officers
- Outreach Workers

We are currently developing an accredited DANOS standards course which will be available to gain a qualification. DAES is committed to providing individuals and organisations with an approach based on a through needs analysis.
