Our Service
Drug and Alcohol Education Services (DAES) is a company
specialising in providing training and awareness programmes for
individuals, groups or organisations wishing to develop a greater
understanding of, and how to respond to, the problems associated
with drugs, alcohol addiction and abuse.
Each programme has been specifically designed to give individuals
or organisations the opportunity to develop relevant skills and
knowledge in order that they can effectively deal with a wide range
of drug and alcohol issues.
Drug and alcohol problems are affecting virtually every part of
society - the young and old, the home and school and the workplace.
It is costing industry, tax payers and the Health Service millions
of pounds each year to deal with the consequences. Not to mention
the loss of thousands of peoples lives and others who may be at
risk.
It is therefore important that individuals and organisations that
may come into contact with drug and alcohol issues or are directly
responsible for drug awareness and training eg. social workers,
health and safety officers, personnel officers, police officers
etc., can receive the best possible training, advice and education.
DAES, who have many years experience in this field, can offer in-house
or location based training programmes/seminars specifically designed
to enable attendees to gain a greater understanding of drug and
alcohol related issues and how to help resolve them. Programmes
can range from understanding the biological, psychological and social
effects of drug and alcohol abuse to crack cocaine awareness and
intervention.
