This one day training course is open to all professionals who are interested in developing their knowledge of young people's drug use. Participants will also develop their knowledge of interventions used to support young people.

What are the learning outcomes
By the end of this course participants will be able to:
- Examine a variety of information and develop an understanding of drug use amongst young people
- Understand and classify a range of high risk behaviors and groups of young people vulnerable to substance misuse
- Will be able to understand the Tiered Treatment intervention model used to support, educate and provide treatment for young people.
- To develop an awareness of guiding principles and good practice in providing drug education and treatment provision
